TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY - 2008

On September 19, 2008, the Fernandina Pirates celebrated 'Talk Like A Pirate Day' by attending 3 different events.  The first one was at the Nassau County Council On Aging - Senior Center.  Thea Seagraves (Takara as the pirates call her) of the Amelia Island Museum presented a lovely program on the historical pirates that once roamed Amelia Island.

The second event of Talk Like A Pirate Day was celebrated with the Day Health Care Seniors also from the Nassau County Council On Aging-

The thrid event of the day was an invasion of the Fernandina Beach Middle School.
