The Gator Bowl Parade
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 31, 2010
JACKSONVILLE, FL

The 2010 Gator Bowl Parade Chairpersons for the Fernandina Pirates Club is Commodore Peacock and Larmac.  They have kindly supplied us with this 'Parade Route Map' so our scallywags can find their way.
There is a new and improved route. The Parade will not pass the Landing as it has for many years. Rather it will take place east of Main Street. Passing the Police Memorial Building and City Hall on the waterfront.  The Parade staging area will be closer to the Landing than in previous years, so you can still walk to the Landing for food, drink, and fun with the football fans.

It is very important you do not use old Parade information.  We would hate for you to miss the Parade because you went to the Old Staging Location.

Official Staging will begin at 12:30 PM (we will have the float there earlier) and the Parade will step off at 3:00 PM. Usually we are near the end so we may have a 30 minute wait before we begin to move.  This is always a good opportunity to watch the other participants and interact with some of the other groups in the parade. From past years the Parade usually runs and hour.

The exact lineup will be available on December 26th.
