Avast thar mates! I always enjoy checking your web site. Have seen you Pyrate ship in the St. Augustine Easter parade in the past. Great job!! We have a club up here in Ludington called the "Pyrates of the Inland Seas". Check our web page at lakeshoreparrotheadclub.googlepages.com. We are always looking for an excuse to dress up and pretend we are 10 years old.

Smooths Seas to ya, you Scabbers Dogs!

I am glad to see a tradition continue. Viewing this website brought back many fond memories of the Shrimp Boat races, the festival, and the invasion. As a kid, I remember pirates hitting my mother and sister on their butts with cutlases. I wondered at the time why they never got mad. Now that I am old, I know why. Thanks.

I have been a resident of Fernandina Beach for the last ten years. I enjoy it's history and beauty. As a resident and native of Salem Mass., and the Boston area, I can appreciate a town that has it's roots in the beginning of our great country.

I bought one of the 25.00 booty bags from the flash food gas station off ofmain beach. We rode our bikes to the Shrimp Festival in downtown Fernandina Beach and it was awesome! We listened to the Swingin Madaliens onstage and the were great! The Best PArt of the festival was the PIRATES! We werea little disappointed because our 9 year old could not go on the shrimp boat next to the pirates' book. MaN WE HAVE A FUN TIME!!!

Dear Pirates, My name is Neehal and I am 3 years old. I LOVE PIRATES. Today, I saw your pirate ship when I was coming home from my school. My mom parked the car and we got out to admire the ship. I was wondering if you have cannons on your ship? My whole family dressed up as pirates for Halloween. My mom is making a pirate bedroom for me too. I love all the pirate pictures on your website. My mom is going to bring me to the parade so I can meet all of you in person. I also read stories about pirates. My favorite story is The Jolly Roger and my favorite pirate is Captain Poopdeck! Love, Neehal Amin, Jacksonville, Florida

We lived in Fernandina Beach in January 1985 for a short time. My husband was working in construction and was sent there for a job. Our oldest child was born there two days after we arrived. We fell in love with the town and the people and still talk about how we would love to visit again. We now have five children and would love to take them there to see the beauty of it for themselves. Of course we took tons of pictures and even brought home some sand from the beach along with a lot of shells. We will never forget the beauty and the friendly people we met there. You guys who are fortunate enough to live there should enjoy it!

I saw the most wonderful display on the back of a truck at a restaraunt in Daytona that said "Yes I am a Pirate" and I believe referenced this club. I was compelled to look for a website, and found this. I am impressed at the spirit and work done by this club. My hat's off to ye mates. Yo Ho!

Hello Pirates! We really enjoyed the parades and spending time with all of you in Nov. and Dec. Hope to see you again soon. I visit this site often, just checking in to see what's up. You have my admiration for all your hard work and accomplishments. The FB Pirate's Club does a lot of good that is not properly recognized. Please know you are appreciated. Keep up the good work. Your friend, Jan

I lived in Fernindina Beach as a young girl. I was there for only about a year. I have lived a lot of different places, but never have I felt more at home than on the Beach. I just spent the summer there and showed my three children how wonderful the beach truly is. And as soon as I find a new place and a job there I will be returning there permanently.
